Presidential Thoughts...

Another year has gone by and I have enjoyed my Presidency very much. Thank you to my fellow officers and race directors. Best wishes to those who follow for the 2002-2003 term of office. I'm sure they will carry on with The Adirondack Runners Tradition of excellence.

There was a great turn out for the Cole's Woods Run. Congratulations to E. John on a wonderful job. The picnic following the race was a lot of fun. I enjoy manning the grill every year. Pat Loucks won the swinger of the year award. It was great to see her enjoying herself on that swing.

Thank you all for your contributions to the Food Pantry. We had 4+ boxes and they appreciated the donations very much.

On August 3rd there was a new race in the area. The Race the Train from Riparius to North Creek. It was hot and challenging. The most challenging 8.4 miles I've ever run. It was well organized and extremely well attended. I think they ought to leave the steps and bridge in next year.

Again thanks to my fellow officers for your help these last few months.
