Presidential Thoughts...

I hope everyone has been enjoying the summer, we have so far this year. I just love the hot humid weather.

Candi and Gen did a fine job on the Distance Run. They and their volunteers are to be commended. Thanks a lot to everyone.

Barb Bartwitz received the Bill Shrader award this year. It was quite a surprise to her. I'm sure having her Mom, Dad and Sister there just added to her special moment. Congratulations Barb you really deserve this award.

The Tuesday night Summer Track Series has been a lot of fun and a big success this year. Thanks to all who pulled together to make it possible. I just love watching and helping the next generation of The Adirondack Runners. Way to go all you little guys.

Last weekend a group of us Adirondack Runners made the annual trip to Utica to do the Boilermaker 15k road race. We stayed with Chuck & Joyce Mix again. A fine time was had by all and much fine wine by some.

The race was extremely hot but we all made it in just fine. A big thank you to Chuck & Joyce. You guys are the best!
